Rules

This is the official 2007-2008 MTGDT 3 rulebook.

Trucks -
Pretty much anything is allowed for the Monster Jam portion of MTGDT 3. Customs and replicas, so as long as they don't have any stupid guns or stuff on them. The truck you sign up with is important as they will be in the winning pictures and driver bio pictures. For the circuit portion, you must use one of the stock vehicles that came with the game. There's around 20 or so, so there's no reason for using the same truck. Whoever signs up first for that truck will get that truck. For Classic Racing, you must use a TNT, Camel, or PENDA era truck that was around no later than 1997. You can only change your truck once throughout the season, and you MUST let me know so I can change the pictures. If you are caught with a modified Classic truck, you will be suspended from the remainder of the Classic series and be docked all of your Classic points up to that point which will also be deducted from your overall points. MJ trucks are allowed to be modified, but cannot be under -2.8 on the Y axis. I can tell these things as I have played around multiple times. If you are caught with what I consider a cheat truck, you will be suspended from the remaining of MJ events and be docked all of your Racing and Freestyle points from MJ which will also be deducted out of your overall points.

Subs -
You will be allowed 3 subs throughout the season. To receive a sub, you must have raced at least once in the season. Subs will not be allowed for the last 3 weeks of the season. This is to prevent people from using other racers that are better than them getting extra points for them. Also, you will NOT be able to receive points on Double Points Nights.

Qualifying/Racing -
For MJ and Classic, go to the line as soon as you're called and get ready. Go when you receive the GO from the official. IMPORTANT: The Qualifying times will NOT be announced! They will be written down and will be posted in the final results. The only hints you'll get will be from brackets. If you hit a pole or only get 1 front tire on a ramp, you will receive a 5 second penalty added onto your time. If you roll, even after the finish line, your time will be DQ. If anyone has the same time, they will race to determine higher time.
For racing, the same rules apply. When your race is called, go to the line and ready up. Same penalties apply. If both players get a penalty, the penalties offset and it still is a race to the finish.

Freestyle(Only mj) -
2 Minutes long, with a 30 second grace period. You flip in the first 30 seconds, keep going, there's about a 2 second buffer zone that I'll allow a flip after grace up has been said. It's unrealistic, so you can do whatever the heck you want to do.

Other -
Maturity is rule Numero Uno. If you exhibit bad sportsmanship, your case will be testified and will receive punishment as needed. If you leave in the middle of a game for a reason other than technicalities, you will lose all points and standings for that night, you will be suspended for the following week, and if you do it again, you will be suspended for the season. If you request a replay, you will be given a replay. However, only the 3 given officials in the game will have the say. The head official is the tiebreaker unless involved in the race. A rerace will be given if race is too close to call.

Other Racing Rules -
Classic - You must be on 600-1000 Gear, Rookie Skill Level, be on Hard Suspension, any cut tires, and have either a Manual or Automatic Transmission.

Points System -
The system is very competitive and allows anyone to take control on any given night.

2nd Place - 50
3rd Place - 40
4th Place - 35
5th and Lower - 25
